Statement of Research and Teaching Progress

This report summarizes the development of my research programs and teaching through my career to date, as required by Duke University for its tenure decision process. Section 1 gives a research overview, and Section 2 summarizes the contributions, impacts, and future directions of my research in experimental operating systems, high-speed networking, network storage, and Internet service delivery. Section 3 summarizes my teaching activities, philosophy, goals, and approaches.
